What is mitzvah? The simple answer is that it is the Hebrew word for “good deed.” But mitzvah is so much more than that. It is a way of life, a code of conduct that we should all aspire to live by. There are many ways to perform a mitzvah – it can be as simple as doing a good deed or act of charity, or more complicated like learning Torah.
