BUILD THE NEXT GATHERING

Turn a first visit into a lasting connection.

JYC creates the practical conditions for Jewish adults ages 21–39 to meet: welcoming meals, accessible gathering spaces, thoughtful programming, and clear outreach to people who are new to the area or arriving alone.

  • Open the door: help offset event and meal costs so price is less of a barrier.
  • Make arrival easier: support venues, supplies, and hospitality that help newcomers settle in.
  • Keep momentum: fund a consistent calendar of Shabbat, holiday, social, learning, and service experiences.

ABOUT JYC

Jewish community that feels natural.

JYC brings Jewish adults ages 21–39 together across Morris, Essex, Union, Somerset, Middlesex, and neighboring New Jersey counties. Our events make meeting people feel natural through shared meals, thoughtful activities, time to talk, and clear details before you arrive.

Come alone, with a partner, or with friends. You do not need to be a synagogue member, know Hebrew, or follow one particular style of Jewish practice. Choose a Shabbat dinner, social outing, holiday gathering, learning program, or service opportunity—and take the next step at your own pace.
