About Jewish Young Community
A place to find your people—and keep coming back.
JYC brings Jewish adults ages 21–39 together across northern and central New Jersey through welcoming gatherings, shared traditions, and real relationships.
Why JYC
Community that feels natural
You do not need to arrive with a group, know every tradition, or fit one kind of Jewish life. Come as you are and take the next step that feels right.
Welcoming by design
Singles, couples, graduate students, professionals, newcomers, and people reconnecting with Judaism all have a place here.
More than one kind of gathering
Meet people through Shabbat dinners, holidays, social nights, outdoor experiences, learning, and service.
Rooted in New Jersey
JYC is a project of Morristown Jewish Center Beit Yisrael, serving young adults across northern and central New Jersey.
What matters here
Belonging grows one conversation at a time.
Our goal is simple: make it easier for Jewish young adults to meet, celebrate, learn, contribute, and build lasting community. Some people start with dinner. Others start with a hike, volunteer opportunity, or thoughtful conversation. Every path in is valid.
