February Shabbat Dinner with MJCBY: Mishpatim the laws of the Torah
Jewish Young Community (JYC) – New Jersey, together with the Morristown Jewish Center, extends a heartfelt invitation to our February Shabbat Dinner.
An Evening of community and learning
Date: Friday, February 21
6:15PM: Shabbat Service – Come join us for our Shabbat service where we will learn about Mishpatim, the part of Exodus that discusses the laws passed down to Moses in Mount Sinai.
7:15PM: Dinner – A fantastic meal curated by Cantor Shana, to allow us to come together.
This event is specially designed for young adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s eager to connect more deeply with Jewish heritage.
Fostering Connections and Celebrating Community
Join us as we learn about Mishpatim, the laws of the Torah. It will help us bond as a community by understanding the laws that were passed to Moses and the significance it had on us. This includes how we should treat each other and the Kosher dietary rules.
This special Shabbat dinner is more than a meal; it’s a chance to forge meaningful connections, celebrate our shared heritage, and contribute to a vibrant, caring community. Your presence helps weave the fabric of a strong, inclusive future.
