Strike Night: A Bowling Social at Lucky Strike Green Brook

You spoke, we listened!

Join JYC New Jersey for our Strike Night at Bowlero Green Brook on May 17! Dive into a night designed for young professionals to meet and mingle.

To create a balanced setting, we are limiting attendance to 14 participants.

Enjoy a friendly bowling competition starting at 8:15 PM sharp.

Event Highlights:

  • Venue: Bowlero Green Brook, 380 US Highway 22, Green Brook, NJ 08812.
  • Date: Saturday, May 17th; begins at 8:15 PM.

June Shabbat Dinner in Morris County

What to Expect:

Join fellow Jewish Young Professionals (ages 21–39ish) on June 6, 2025 for a special Pride Shabbat with Morristown Jewish Center in Morris County and the last scheduled Shabbat until the fall, where we’ll reflect on the 6th portion of Parshat Naso and celebrate the beauty of individuality within community.

This week’s Torah portion reminds us how each tribe brought the same offering to the Mishkan—showing that while each of us carries something unique, we’re united in our sacred purpose. Just like in Parshat Naso, Pride Shabbat affirms that your identity, voice, and presence matter. Together, we build a community where everyone belongs and contributes meaningfully.

Whether you’re a seasoned Shabbat attendee or joining us for the first time, you’ll be welcomed into a warm, inclusive environment celebrating Jewish identity, diversity, and connection.

Join fellow Jewish Young Professionals between 21-39ish years of age for an evening at Morristown Jewish Center in Morris County for a special evening celebrating Parshat Acharei-Kedoshim, where Torah reminds us to welcome the stranger, pursue fairness, and uplift holiness in our daily lives.

What to Expect

February Shabbat Dinner with MJCBY: Mishpatim the laws of the Torah

Jewish Young Community (JYC) – New Jersey, together with the Morristown Jewish Center, extends a heartfelt invitation to our February Shabbat Dinner.

An Evening of community and learning

Date: Friday, February 21

6:15PM: Shabbat Service – Come join us for our Shabbat service where we will learn about Mishpatim, the part of Exodus that discusses the laws passed down to Moses in Mount Sinai.

7:15PM: Dinner – A fantastic meal curated by Cantor Shana, to allow us to come together.

This event is specially designed for young adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s eager to connect more deeply with Jewish heritage.

Fostering Connections and Celebrating Community

Join us as we learn about Mishpatim, the laws of the Torah. It will help us bond as a community by understanding the laws that were passed to Moses and the significance it had on us. This includes how we should treat each other and the Kosher dietary rules.

This special Shabbat dinner is more than a meal; it’s a chance to forge meaningful connections, celebrate our shared heritage, and contribute to a vibrant, caring community. Your presence helps weave the fabric of a strong, inclusive future.

Additional Parking: Available along Sussex Ave and in the municipal lot at 21 Sussex Ave.

Registration: Complimentary for the first 30 sign-ups; $18 thereafter. RSVP by February 19, 2025, to ensure a spot.

Contribution: Guests are welcome to bring kosher wine or beer to share
