JYC welcomes different Jewish backgrounds, identities, practices and viewpoints. These standards explain conduct expectations and the private reporting route.

Conduct and belonging

  • Respect names, pronouns, identities and boundaries
  • Ask before adding a guest to a chat or using a close-up photo
  • Do not harass, dehumanize, discriminate or pressure personal disclosure
  • Handle accessibility and cost-help requests privately

What event listings must disclose

  • Whether Israel or politics is part of the purpose
  • How much religious knowledge is assumed
  • Arrival, access, cost, food and photography details
  • The host to contact privately
