Service providers and sharing
JYC uses service providers to operate parts of its website and programs. Depending on what you choose to do, these may include WordPress and website hosting, Mailchimp for email communications, OneTable or another event-registration service, and the donation or payment service identified on the relevant page. Those services process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information with authorized volunteers, event partners, venues, or service providers when reasonably needed to deliver the service you requested, protect JYC and its community, or comply with law.
Email choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing or community-update emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the message. We may still send necessary administrative messages about an event or transaction you requested.
Data retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including administrative, safety, accounting, and legal needs. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Third-party websites
Our website links to services operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and JYC is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites.
Your choices and requests
You may ask us to review, correct, or delete personal information you previously provided to JYC. Some information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, or recordkeeping purposes. Email jycnewjersey@gmail.com with your request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website, programs, or service providers change. The “Last updated” date at the top identifies the current version.

Post-event feedback and testimonial permission
Private event feedback is stored in a restricted WordPress record for up to 12 months and is never published by default. Referral source, self-reported first/return attendance, rating, private contact permission, and public testimonial permission are separate fields. Authorized administrators may export de-identified evidence fields for planning. If you separately permit a public testimonial, JYC reviews the approved text and attribution before use. Email jycnewjersey@gmail.com to withdraw future testimonial use or request deletion.
