Reviews first-event requests and helps agree who to look for, where to meet and which introductions would help.

Daniel Ackerman
Backup welcome contact
Covers the welcome queue when the primary contact is unavailable and helps coordinate an unanswered request.
Ask for a named day-of host and meeting point before traveling. A submitted request does not establish that an introduction or accommodation has been arranged.
Prefer not to walk in alone?
A real person can make the first ten minutes easier.
Tell us what would make arrival more comfortable. A JYC host can text you before the event, meet you near the entrance, and introduce you to two people. Share as much or as little as you choose.
Hosts are greeters and connectors—not mentors, counselors, or matchmakers. You remain in control of how much contact you want.
A human next step
Request a first-event host
This does not register you for an event. It asks JYC to make arrival easier.
