FROM A FIRST HELLO TO PEOPLE YOU SEE AGAIN
A large calendar creates variety. A small recurring group creates continuity.
JYC Pods are evidence-informed pilots for approximately six to ten people who want a familiar group, a clear rhythm, and a low-pressure way to build Jewish friendships. We will launch only groups supported by real local interest.
Local connection
County- or town-area dinners, outings, and newcomer circles that reduce the travel barrier.
Shared interest
Service, outdoors, food and culture, Shabbat hosting, big questions, or remote-worker meetups.
Bounded commitment
Try one meeting before committing. Short cohorts publish their start, end, host, and meeting rhythm.
How a pod works
- Usually six to ten participants
- One trained peer host and one backup
- Clear dates, location area, and purpose
- Four to eight initial meetings or an announced monthly rhythm
- Group messaging only after affirmative consent
A HUMAN NEXT STEP
Help shape the first JYC Pods
Interest does not commit you to a group. JYC will use real demand before launching a pod.
