More than a decade of bringing people together

A Highland Park native and Drexel University graduate, Asher has spent years creating meaningful social opportunities for Jewish young professionals. He founded the Oneg Group to help young adults connect after Friday evening services and continued his community work after moving to Morristown in 2019.

At JYC, Asher combines digital marketing experience with a deep commitment to inclusive spaces where newcomers and regulars can form lasting friendships.

Asher Weinstein contributes to JYC’s mission of helping Jewish young adults find community, friendship, and meaningful Jewish experiences in New Jersey. JYC leaders and volunteers support welcoming programs that bring people together for Shabbat, holidays, learning, social events, outdoor activities, and service. Their involvement helps new participants feel comfortable and keeps the community responsive to what young adults are seeking.
