A relaxed fall outing
JYC planned this apple-picking and cider-sipping event as an easygoing way for Jewish young adults to meet outdoors. Participants could enjoy the orchard, talk at their own pace, and take part in a shared seasonal activity. People attending alone were just as welcome as those arriving with friends. For any future version of this outing, use the current event listing to confirm weather plans, transportation, admission costs, accessibility, and the RSVP deadline.
The JYC calendar also includes Shabbat dinners, holiday programs, learning, volunteering, and other social gatherings. This was a simple fall day. Guests met at the farm. They picked fruit, had cider, and talked as they walked. The plan gave people time to meet without a long or formal program. New guests could join with ease. Friends could take part as a group. The event page now serves as a past record. Its date and sign-up link are no longer active. Do not use the old page to plan a trip. For a new farm day, open the current calendar first. Check the time, price, weather plan, and place. Wear shoes that work well on grass and dirt. Bring water when the day is warm. Ask the host if you need help with access or travel. JYC will post new details when a new trip is ready.
