A night at the observatory

This JYC outing invited Jewish young adults to spend an evening together at the NJAA Observatory. The shared activity created space for conversation, learning, and a memorable view of the night sky. Participants were encouraged to review the event details for arrival time, weather updates, accessibility, and anything they needed to bring. Archived information reflects the original date only.

For the next outdoor or science-themed gathering, consult JYC’s current calendar and RSVP instructions. This night gave the group a chance to look up, learn, and talk. Guests met at the site and spent time with the night sky. The shared plan made it easy to meet people. It also gave the group a fun goal for the night. This page is a past event record. Its date has passed, so do not use it as a live plan. A new trip may have a new time or place. Clouds may also cause a late change. Check the current event page before you leave. Bring a light coat if the night may turn cool. Wear safe shoes for dark paths. Ask the host about access, parking, or gear if you need help. You can also join another JYC trip if this type of event is not on the new calendar yet.
