Kosher Connections: JYC Dinner at Giddy’s August 6 6pm – 8pm

Hello JYC,

We are excited to announce a joint dinner event with the Young Jewish Professionals of Temple Beth Ahm on August 6th. Join us at Giddy’s Pizza and Cafe in Highland Park, NJ, from 6-8 PM for an evening of great food and community.

About Giddy’s Pizza and Cafe:

Giddy’s Pizza and Cafe has been serving fresh Italian food to the East Brunswick community since 2014. Their commitment to homemade items, including dressings, sauces, appetizers, vegetarian “Chicken” and “Meat” products, and of course, their delicious pizza, sets them apart. Giddy’s is under the strict rabbinical supervision of The VAAD of Raritan Valley, ensuring all meals are kosher with a mashgiach on site during all operational hours.

On July 21st, have lunch at Applebee’s 12:30pm in Bridgewater (optional) then from 2pm to 8pm, JYC New Jersey invites you to be part of an exciting fundraising event at a Somerset Patriots baseball game at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, NJ.

Partnering with HomePlate Catering & Hospitality, the concessions partner of the Somerset Patriots, we’re raising funds to support the MJCBY Shabbat Dinner Fund. By volunteering, you’re directly contributing to our mission of strengthening our community.

Volunteers will operate large concessions and portable carts during the Patriots home game. MJCBY Shabbat Dinner Fund will earn a percentage of the revenue generated, with additional bonus incentives available. It’s a fantastic way to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the game day atmosphere!

JYC Meetup at Randolph Freedom Festival 7/13/2024 7:00pm

Event Announcement:

Join fellow young professionals 21-39ish years of age for the 2024 Randolph Freedom Festival on Saturday, July 13th, meeting at 7:00 PM at the County College of Morris! This exciting event is part of a three-day celebration of music, amusements, and community spirit, brought to you by Randolph Kiwanis and Randolph Township.

Event Highlights:

  • Time: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Location: County College of Morris
  • Activities: Enjoy mechanical rides, carnival games, delicious festival food (think funnel cakes and fried Oreos!), and an expanded Beer Garden offering beer, wine, and hard seltzer.
  • Live Entertainment: Experience live music performances throughout the evening.
  • Special Feature: Don’t miss the spectacular Fireworks Display starting at 9:45 PM, synchronized to music by a DJ. It’s the highlight of the evening!

Details:

  • Parking: $5 suggested donation per car (benefiting a Randolph Youth Group).
  • Rain Date: In case of inclement weather, the fireworks will be rescheduled to July 14th, with the Freedom Festival also moving to that evening from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

  • Smoking and pets are not permitted on the CCM campus.
