Torah learning for young adults

JYC learning programs make Jewish ideas approachable, social, and relevant to everyday life. Sessions may explore the weekly Torah portion, holidays, ethics, prayer, or questions that matter to Jewish adults in their 20s and 30s. No particular background is required: participants are welcome to listen, ask questions, and bring their own perspectives. Programs vary from discussion-based gatherings to services and holiday learning, so check each listing for its location, schedule, and registration details.

Browse the calendar for the next learning program, Shabbat gathering, or holiday experience. You can start small. Read one short part. Ask one clear question. Share one idea with the group. There is no test, and there is no need to know each term. The goal is to learn with care and joy. Some people come with years of study. Others are new. Both are welcome. A class may look at a weekly story, a holiday, a prayer, or a choice we face at work and at home. The teacher gives useful context. The group then has time to talk. You may speak, listen, or do both. Bring a friend if that helps you feel at ease. Check the event page for the date, place, and sign-up steps. If one class is not a fit, try the next one. Each class offers a fresh way to learn and meet people.
