April Shabbat Dinner with MJCBY: A Journey of Freedom and Fellowship

In the spirit of Passover, a festival that celebrates liberation and the triumph of freedom over oppression, Jewish Young Community (JYC) – New Jersey and Moishe House Without Walls Morristown invites you to a special April Shabbat Dinner with the Morristown Jewish Center. This evening invites young adults (21-39ish) for a reflective and connective experience, highlighting the Passover Seder’s message of liberation and inclusivity.

Event Details:

  • Date: Friday, April 5th
  • 6:15PM: Shabbat Service with Passover themes
  • 7:15PM: Dinner – curated by the esteemed Cantor Shana, emphasizing traditional flavors

OneTable Registration is required by April 3rd: first 30 spots free on OneTable, $18 after.

The dinner promotes community care, inviting attendees to explore and share stories of freedom, sustenance, and support, fostering a welcoming atmosphere of connection and growth.

Venue: Morristown Jewish Center, 177 Speedwell Ave, Morristown, NJ. Extra parking on Sussex Ave and at 21 Sussex Ave municipal lot. Contributions of kosher wine or beer are welcome.

Singles Strike Night and Nosh Somerset County March 29 7:00 PM

Singles Strike Night: A Bowling Social at Bowlero Green Brook

You spoke, we listened!

Join JYC New Jersey for our Singles Strike Night at Bowlero Green Brook on March 29! Dive into a night designed for young professionals to meet and mingle through bowling and casual dining.

To create a balanced and intimate setting, we aim for equal representation of all genders, limiting attendance to 14 participants.

Enjoy our welcome social hour at 7:00 PM, followed by friendly bowling competition at 7:30 PM, and unwind with dinner at 9:00 PM.

Also, a quick note, Rabbi has asked us to start a name tag process so be sure to stop by the check in table. Just like we did at Temple Sholom in Bridgewater!
